Sus it Out is an interactive toolkit that enables organisations to explore what
sustainable development means for them. It has been designed so that any organisation can use it, whatever field
of activity they work in.
Sustainable development is defined for the purposes of Sus it Out in its broadest sense.
It includes having regard for the world we live in and the people we share the world with. It includes looking at how
your organisation interacts: with staff, members, clients or service users, with the environment and with
the wider community. It enables you to identify what you are doing well but also where there is a need
and/or desire for further development.
Sus it Out is a participatory, fun, practical activity that helps you to decide on some
clear actions that will take your organisation forward. It is a facilitated workshop suitable for groups
of up to twelve people, although it can be adapted for larger groups.
